Exterior Construction

Before any cable enters a building, we plan and build the path that gets it there.

Site evaluation — assessing distance from the fiber source, terrain, and any obstacles on the property
Permitting — coordinating any permits required by the city or property before work begins
Pathway construction — trenching, boring, or aerial attachment, depending on what the site calls for

Underground Cable Construction

When the path runs underground, we choose between two methods depending on the site:

Trenching

An open-cut method used for shorter runs or where the terrain allows it.

Directional Boring

Used to avoid disturbing driveways, mature landscaping, or hardscape on longer runs.

Once the cable is buried, we restore what was disturbed — backfilling trenches, repairing turf, and replacing any concrete or pavement that had to come up — and document the exact route and depth of the buried line for future reference.

Locating Service

Before any digging happens — on our projects or anyone else's — existing utility and cable lines on the property need to be identified and marked. Missing a line that wasn't flagged doesn't just risk property damage; it can knock out phone, internet, or power service to an entire building.
